Week 19: Sleep Testifying + Personal Revelation + "When are God's children coming?"

Kia Ora Whanau!

If you know me well, you know that I talk in my sleep. As well as laugh and scream. Well, this week, apparently "sleep testifying" should be added to that list. Sister Meto told me that I was full on bearing my testimony while ASLEEP. I just kept explaining the gospel. At one point she said she heard me say, "It's true. It's true. IT'S TRUE I TELL YOU!!"

I'm a committed missionary.

I bear my testimony all day and all night.

To imaginary people and real ones as well.

Our investigator Shona is progressing quite quickly. When we asked her to pray to know if the Book of Mormon is true and if Joseph Smith is a prophet, she said, "No, I'm not worried about that, I already believe it. I just need to know if the prophet on the earth today is a real one." She has such amazing faith! She told us she knew that God wouldn't just stop speaking to us and always wondered why everything supposedly ended with the Bible.

Before we arrived for our lesson with her, she told us that her son asked her, "When are God's children coming again?" She laughed and told him that we are all God's children, and he was welcome to stay and participate. But he wanted to know what time we were coming so that he could leave when we got there.  Haha.

I have reflected on how grateful i am that we can receive personal revelation. I have relied on this as an anchor to many things in my testimony and choices I make. Some people we teach do not believe that God will answer them, or they don't understand that they can actually know for themselves what we are teaching is true. James 1:5, people.

Hope you all have a great week :)
